Saigon to Phnom Penh Tour 4 Days

Journey from Saigon to Cai Be and Vinh Long. Here you will cruise the many tributaries of the Mekong, walk along the famous 'Monkey Bridges' that link the villages together and wander amongst vibrant tropical fruit gardens. In Can Tho, take a boat to visit the colourful Cai Rang floating market. Here, during the early morning market hours, larger sized boats anchor and create lanes that smaller boats weave in and out of. The main items sold here are fruit and vegetables and every boat has a long upright pole at its bow from which samples of the goods for sale are hung. The waterway becomes a maze of hundreds of boats packed with mango, bananas, papaya, pineapple, and even floating pho vendors. Before heading into Cambodia and its capital Phnom Penh, spend a night in the town of Chau Doc. The pace here is slower than the rest of the Mekong and the town boats a strong cultural presence. The local Khmer population rubs shoulders with local fisherman, whilst the Cham minority still weave colorful traditional textiles.
