The Huyen Trang Hotel proves great service behind the modern façade. Antique French-style furniture fills the rooms, leaving just enough space for a comfortable stay. There are four rooms on each floor and only those at the front and back have a window. The big front rooms are best, with decent views from the small balcony and double-glazing to keep out the street noise, though the gaudy floral blankets let the team down a bit. All rooms have broadband data ports and the walls are filled with art - abstract nude women with odd-shaped breasts seem to be a particular favourite of the artist.
