| The original Vinh Hung hotel (Vinh Hung I) is a 125-year-old Chinese trader’s home a block from Hoian Japanese covered bridge on Tran Phu Street, the very heart of Hoian ancient town. Vinh Hung I hotel is only hotel in Hoian in Chinese style. For those who really want to soak in Hoian architectural flavor, stay in one of the two second story rooms in the original wooden house. Furnished with antique furniture and oriental rugs, but a bit dark and threadbare, these rooms are the real thing. A room in the front with balcony recently served as Michael Caines dressing room during the filming of The Quiet American. |
